I work with kids of all ages, parents, and families. Some of the difficulties my clients face are:

  • Anxiety, including Social Anxiety, Phobias, Separation Anxiety and Selective Mutism

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Disruptive or oppositional behaviors

  • Traumatic experiences, including grief and loss

  • Major life adjustments, including separation and divorce

  • Parent-child relationships, bonding and attachment

During session, I may use a variety of techniques to engage my clients and address the problems that brought them to me.  Some of these techniques may include therapeutic games, worksheets, role-plays, child-led play and more.

I am extensively trained in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and use evidence-based interventions in my practice. You can learn more about my specializations and certifications here

During our first few sessions, and continuing throughout treatment, my clients and I work together to figure out what techniques will be the best fit.

I provide consultation services to schools and other organizations to help them effectively prevent and/or address mental health or interpersonal difficulties.  The scope and structure of any of my consultation projects will be tailored to your unique needs or those of your institution and may include things such as:

  • Training or workshops for teachers, administrators, attorneys or other staff

  • Presentations to caregivers and students

  • Direct work with staff to increase effective management of socioemotional and/or behavioral needs

  • Help to create curricula

  • Identifying ways to increase access to mental health services, resources, and support within your school or organization

Collaborative Divorce

Making the decision to separate is difficult. Unfortunately, the process of obtaining a legal separation or divorce is also often highly stressful and combative and can have significant negative impact on the well-being of parents and kids.

As a Coach and Child Specialist with the Collaborative Family Law Association, I work with a team of professionals to help couples navigate that process in a way that is efficient, productive and healthy - for them and their children.
